The department of Electrical & Computer Engineering has their own Center for Computing, Information and Communication Systems (CCICS) used both in education and research. In addition, smaller computer systems and personal computers exist in all laboratories.

The library covers an area of 850 m2 and con-tains over 37,000 books and 2,500 periodical titles. It subscribes to 21 databanks which contain information on CD-ROMs. University students and employees, students and scientists of other educational institutions of the Patras area are eligible to borrow from the library as long as they are holders of a library card..
